ICU World Cheerleading Championships 2009
For the first time ever, a world-wide cheerleading and dance team championship will take place, with national cheerleading and dance teams from approximately 40 countries descending on the Walt Disney World Resort on April 23rd and 24th. The ICU anticipates 100 team performances over the two-day event.
"This is an amazing event for the global cheerleading and dance team community, and i am confident that this championship will enrich the sport's experience for the young athletes in each participating country," says Jeff Webb, the President of ICU.

Also for the first time, our long-time friends from Bangkok University, 9 times Champions at the Seacon Square Cheerleading Championships will be representing Thailand, under TCA to compete under three categories at this World Championships. It is also BU's first time competing at an International Competition and also Coach Toey's dream of sending his team to compete in USA. We at Legacy would like to wish them the most spirited cheerific luck and yell SU ! SU ! to one of the best cheerleading teams in the world. See ya soon BU =)
