ICU Cheerleading Clinic
Hi all, shaun has just sent out the so-not-clear msg about the ICU workshop this weekend. :p
Just to add on it's a 2 day workshop from 10am to 5pm at Choa Chu Kang CC.
3 instructors are coming down.
Tony Oka
Tony is going on his tenth year working for the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA). In which seven of those years working as a Head Instructor, and being awarded multipule Head Instructor and Veteran Instructor of the year awards. Tony cheered at California State University of Sacramento, placing both 2nd and 3rd at the UCA College National Championships. Tony has worked with and coached many All Star National Champions, including Pro Cheer, and Power Allstars. Currently Tony is coaching at California State University Sacramento, and working skills and choreography with Allstar Gyms in the Northern California Area.
Katie Prechter
Louisiana State University Cheerleader for 5 years
Selected Member of LSU’s dance ensemble for 3 years
UCA instructor for 7 years for the high school and college levels, also core staff instructor to train other instructors. Help with the development of material and also judging.
Worked as UCA’s Midsouth and International Representative teaching in places such as: China, Slovenia and Malaysia.
Coach for Walker High School and Freshman squad
World Champion as a Member of Team USA
Jessica Colombo
UCA staff for 6 years (UCA college staff for 5 yearsand UCA core staff for 4 years)
Cheerleading for 21 years
Coach of Don Bosco Prep Varsity cheerleading
Cheered all 4 years in college and competed at UCA nationals every year
Captain of college squad during Junior and Senior year
Won the UCA small coed Division 1 national championships in 2006 and 2007
INTERMEDIATE CHEERLEADING CLINIC:12th December 2009, Saturday
Participants will be given an opportunity to learn basket tosses, pyramids and partner stunts from ICU Elite and Premier level,which is equivalent to USASF/IASF Level 5 & 6.
ADVANCED CHEERLEADING CLINIC: 13th December 2009, Sunday
For advanced workshop, attendees are advised to have achieved a single-base liberty and back tuck basket toss. Participants will be given an opportunity to learn advanced basket tosses, pyramids and partner stunts from ICU Premier level, which is equivalent to USASF/IASF 6.
Registration closes on Thursday, 10 Dec which is tomorrow. So please confirm your attendance to shaun asap.
