CHARM Cheerleading Championships (C3) 2014

Hello, dear readers!

Over the last weekend, Legacians had a great time over in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Of course, the highlight event is C3 itself. However, what we brought back was not only experience from competing, but also new friends in Malaysia, as well as stronger bonds with one other!

Reunion of the first and second batches of Legacians(we split into batches to fly over to KL from SG)!!

We played the famous Escape Room, then at the arcade, and shopped like crazy!!

And did we mention that we actually won the Escape Room and got listed in their weekly challenge list??

Can you spot us??

Here we are!
Reunion of the team after the last batch arrived!

On the first day of C3, we went to support our fellow Singapore Teams who competed in the Partner Stunts Category!!

A job well done to both Shanna and Tom, and also our publicist for 2013/2014 - Abigail and her partner, Zhi Liang!!

Results for Partner Stunts Category:
1. Jimmy and Vinnie
2. Clement and Felicia
3. Legacy All-Stars (Tom and Shanna)

Congrats to all of you who won and also good job to the others! It was indeed a close fight, with a total of 16 teams competing!

Afterwards, a team dinner was planned at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. before our first and last run of our routine in our uniforms!! A huge shoutout to Cheer Aspiration who were so kind to lend us their training place while we were in Kuala Lumpur - Thank You!!

And now, the main event!

Everyone got up bright and early to do our hair and makeup before we lugged all our luggage to the mall for lunch. Next we put on our uniforms and then finally we were all fully geared for the battlefield!

Time flew and before we knew it, our turn came to warm up and shortly after, compete!!

Results for Coed Level 5 category:
1. Cheer Aces Jacks
2. CA Awesome Legends
3. Legacy All Stars (Singapore)

Being our first time competing in Level 5( plus with only two weeks' prep for it!! ), getting 2nd-runner up was a good achievement! The trip to Kuala Lumpur itself was a journey filled with joy and lessons. Everyone definitely had the time of their lives. (;

And even though Level 5 was a fun and refreshing challenge for us, Level 6 is still something we are used to. Rewinds, front tucks without braces and stacking on top for pyramids is still instilled deeply into us. So keep a lookout here for more updates as we bring back more exciting news for you!

We will be updating here more often from now on, and keep a lookout for our members' profile pages.

Yours Truly,
Publicists.
